Youth Steering Council (YSC)

This youth initiative teaches and encourages youth to make positive change in their community. The NWLRC works closely with the YSC to keep in touch with youth & community needs. Youth contribution is vital to NWLRC.


Northwest London Food Bank Depot

This depot is provided to bring the services of the London Food Bank closer to the residents of Northwest London. It happens on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 10am – 3:30pm.


Emergency Food Cupboard, Baby Food and Diaper Bank 

These supplies are available by appointment for Northwest London residents only (postal code must start with N6G or N6H).  Cupboard usage is restricted to once every three months.


Youth & Seniors Connecting Online

Seniors are paired with a youth from area secondary schools to learn basic computer and internet skills. Programs run throughout the year and are 6 weeks in length.


Beyond Basics

This program offers advanced training for specific computer programs. Programs covered include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Internet/ E-mail applications.


Walking Club

As part of the Active Neighbourhoods 2010 initiatives, an indoor walking club was created and continues to run twice weekly. Participants are encouraged to walk at their own pace.  Come out and get active in 2008!


Seniors Social Activities

On Tuesday and Thursday afternoons seniors can come to socialize, play card games such as bridge, and enjoy the opportunity to just have fun! 


Programs for People with Disabilities

The resource center partners with Alice Saddy and Participation House to offer a variety of programs such as Knitting, Corking & Crocheting, Music Therapy, and Drama.
